Needed that...I'm hungry for some good hog roast...and Missouri deep fried jayhawks as well. You got to feel for Idaho and NMSU fans...their school has no football home next season and might have to drop down to FCS. CU is nowhere close to that point. Funny thing is that I wish I packed an OU hat and shirt for my flight to Jackson, MS tomorrow so that the t-shirt UT fans would go into a frenzy at the airport on the way to Oxford (actually closer to Memphis so I think that is where they would get off at). I reckon those southerners will have shotguns on the ready if Bevo doesn't treat the Grove right. ;D

CU sucks. My opinion has been shared.

Yup CU sucks until proven otherwise. What an insult to the old Big 8 fans.

I hope the academic side of the Pac-12 move is helping CU. Clearly, the athletic move is a disaster.
Meanwhile, the Big 12 paid more to its members last year than any conference ever has. CU was always a fringe member of the Big 8/12. They're likely a better fit out there, but it's been a short-term disaster.

It's not entirely fair that things didn't work out of the Pac 12 in the realignment game. They were the one with the big bold plan in the first place, but they ended up being one-upped by the other major conferences. The Pac 12 and Colorado were kinda like the first two contestants to bid on The Price is Right, the 3rd guy is going to come along bid $1 more than you, and the 4th guy is going to come in and bid $1 total, and the first two bidders don't have a chance to win even though they made the truly honest bids.

The Pac 12 had a big bold plan to get a couple of big name-brand teams from the South Division of the Big 12. When that didn't work, they went with a very bad plan B of Colorado and Utah. It's their own damn fault!

I don't disagree with that.
Life isn't fair, nor do I expect it to be. I just find it unfortunate for the PAC 12 that all this super conference talk was their idea to begin with, now all the other conferences are loading up while they're stuck with Colorado and Utah and no legit candidates for further expansion. The first missed step in all of this was them inviting Colorado on their own without being contingent on the other 5 schools joining too. They would've been better off staying at 10 and splitting their money 10 ways instead of 12.
