KU hasn't played real well for a few weeks, for sure. They've managed to win, however, and that's what counts.
It shouldn't take playing well to beat TCU. This was an upset of historic proportions, quite honestly.
Be glad this is the first time KU has lost back-to-back games in 7 years.
Should both teams win on Saturday, Big Monday will be a Sunflower Showdown for the outright lead in the conference standings.

Longhorns have a moment in their first truly down season in a long time. They score a 2OT team win against ISU who had previously dismantled them at home.

Texas is really suffering from having such a young inexperienced roster. Last night in their game against KU they had a total of three assists as a team with nobody getting more than 1. The Jayhawks will be a lot like that next year when the entire roster will be freshmen & sophomores, but I think KU will be in a better position as the freshmen are getting plenty of play time this year.

Great team win with McLemore having a somewhat poor game. I dont want to be overly optimistic, but it looks like the Jayhawks slump is over. Last nights game may have been for the Big 12 championship.

Not a lot to discuss following the debacle in Ames. You know it's bad when the league office admits that the officials blew it.

Not a lot to discuss following the debacle in Ames. You know it's bad when the league office admits that the officials blew it. I understand. I was disgusted last year at Mizzou on the late phantom charging foul on Robinson. That call nearly cost us the Championship. But it all comes down to it is 2 pts whenever it's called or not called. The charge called on Withey turning for the bucket was called and was probably as bad or worse than the no call. I can understand a tendency to swallow the whistle in very late game scenarios for at Mizzou it was just the opposite and the players did not determine the outcome of the game. Refs should call every game perfectly. :-)

KSU v Baylor Magruder left unguarded with 1 second left.....inexcusable. That is probably a coaching error not having your team prepared for the scenario.

ISU was deflated, and understandably after all they've been through this season.
Besides the no-call/bad call with 5 seconds to go, the other big blunder was awarding Withey's 5th foul to Young.
The end of KSU @ Baylor was bizarre and thrilling. Will Spradling only played the first five minutes and was out with an injury, Henriquez had fouled out, McGruder had four fouls on him, Pierre Jackson was getting two free throws every time he decided to drive. Baylor looked prime to roll in overtime. Baylor's designated thrower obviously had an arm on him, and I felt like he put the ball where he needed to, but it wasn't executed well on the other end.

Well Iowa State saved the Big 12 today as they are the only team that really played well. Congrats. It is sad that we only have two teams going into the Round of 32.
