Good start for Tech so far. Up 7-0 midway through 1 quarter. kSU has had some slow starts so far, so lets see how they respond.
Gotta say though, I'm encouraged with what I've seen so far.

7-3 after 1. Tech dodged a huge bullet with a questionable penalty on a fumble return, could be tied.

10-3 Tech right now in Q2. From what I remember from my college days, KSU is a different team in the second half under Snyder. So watch out for that.

Well it's 13-10 KSU at halftime. Both teams have left points on the board. KSU with to field goals in the red zone, Tech with one field goal and one fumble in the red zone. Klein has started opening up the offense the last few possessions and throwing on first down, the running game really hasn't been there so he's taking what he D gives him. Tech has moved the ball great, but not finished drives.
There's big plays to be had in the second half, just a matter of who makes them.

Wow! Oh my god what a horrible call on the fumble! Replay could not possibly give a better look at the play. That might be the backbreaking play of the game. 27-10 Kansas State

The damage is done, KSU has one quarter to work off with a 17 point lead. Klein just can't be stopped when he has a lead, he can just fall over and get 6 yards. The discouraging part is that Tech looks to just have their tail between their legs. They're moping around dropping passes an just lolly gagging around. They just look beaten.

NC teams just have a special feel to them. I felt that in 2005 and 2009 with Texas teams. I wonder how KSU fans feel right now. At this point it's all about avoiding the choke.

Full blown rout! Crazy as it sounds, we had our chances in this game and couldn't rise to the moment. Could've gone up 14-0, gave up and unblocked sack and fumble. Could've gone up 14-3, settled for fg. Two completely unforced turnovers gave 14 points. We have been schooled in the art of football today, but the worst damage was done by ourselves.

Tech is laying the ground work to be a force next year. Remember, KSU started on their trajectory last year where Tech struggled like never before in the Big12. It is still a great season so far for Tech and the future looks bright for them.

Good game Cats! We were just outclassed!
Football is a funny game sometimes. I thought we played a pretty good game that just came down to a few mistakes. I don't think we would've won if we didn't make those mistakes, but I think it shows how important a few key plays can be. Chance to go up by 14, bad presnap read by Doege and its a fumble. The fumble at the start of the third quarter opened the flood gates, bad call or not its a moot point if the WR just looks the ball into his hands. Then a drop by the rb that goes right to the lb for a pick 6. Three plays, 17 point given directly to KSU, not counting what Tech might have gotten on those drives. Kansas State made the plays and we couldn't, hats off to them.
We still have a good season going, we lost to the two best teams in the conference, no reason we can't still be #3 at the end.

Tech dominated the first quarter. I feel like the refs took away four points on the fumble return and subsequent pass interference flag pick-up. Second quarter was a push, but the 'Cats dominated the third quarter and pulled away. Bill Snyder is 157-5 when leading at the half.

I thought the penalty on the fumble return was pretty weak. Should've been a moot point though, Doege cannot let that guy come through unblocked, he has to set his protection and at least account for him whether he thinks he's blitzing or not. That play is the epitome of the missed opportunity that was the entire game, punch that in for points and were up 14-0 and its a totally different game.

I thought Doege was very good early at buying time and creating plays with his feet. I'm not sure he gets enough credit for that. He's very hard to sack.
Klein out-dueled another Heisman contender. K-State is 8-0, and things at the top are very exciting. The OU-ND outcome was vey disappointing.

Colin Klein was in the game, probably later thane he "should" have been. He added the last TD with a shovel pass, adding the the team's "style" points, and his own personal stats. This may have been seen as "running it up" by Tech's sideline.
Once the back-up QB was in, Tech forced K-State into a punting situation with :50 to go in the game. Tech brought a punt block and roughed the K-State kicker. This definitely caught the ire of Bill Snyder. It looked like a completely useless risk, that could have seriously cost K-State.
Any thoughts on the "classy moves" debate?
