What an amazingly exciting game last night between ISU and UT.
Archie has focused on a lot of the second half drama, but I don't know if he mentioned the end of the first half. ISU was forced to kick a FG because of a bad drop, and that possession was followed by UT's "Hail Mary" TD to end the half. What a huge swing.
Texas is bad, period. K-State's loss to them proves the problems that the Wildcats have. KSU is having real internal struggles. Their offense is way more talented than what they've shown to this point. Bad stuff, man.....

Yeah, I missed the first half of the game, I was watching the Braves-Dodgers dumpster fire! Texas did not deserve to win this game, plain and simple. However, Paul Rhoads is flat out delusional if he thinks his team deserved to win. The hail mary is inexcusable. The penalties that I saw in the game were legitimate, especially the last drive. Settling for a field goal inside the 5 yard line when a TD clinches it. His team simply did not do enough right in this game to say with a straight face they deserved to win it. Texas is bad, and they're delusional too if they keep up this ridiculous idea of winning the Big 12. They needed a straight up miracle to beat a team that lost at home to a FCS team. They only won because they played a team worse than them, and they had to scrape through by the skin of their teeth to do it! I just want to sit back with a bucket of popcorn of a cold beer and watch this Texas trainwreck for the sheer entertainment value. Can we not appreciate the unintentional comedy of this? Texas thinks they're a contender!!!!! They think they're getting better! (The administration at least, obviously the fans don't think so!) Seriously, grab a cold one, sit back in your favorite chair, and watch the pure hilarity that is 2013 Texas football. We may never again get to watch a team that so bad, but thinks they're so good!

While Texas has its ups and downs, the crybabies are a constant. This time is Paul Rhodes crying about the refs - boo hoo

Osu is bad.
K-State turned the ball over 5 times, had 100 yards in penalties, and still almost won in Stillwater.

Oklahoma and Baylor are the class of the conference right now. Baylor is flat out inhumane right now! They could've scored 100 points Saturday night if they really wanted to. They had 73 points and nearly 900 yards of offense and 9.1 yards per play... DESPITE 4 turnovers and and a missed field goal. They theoretically left 31 points on the board through mistakes. Even more impressive, they haven't had a 3 and out yet all season long! Unfortunately, because this is college football where the name on your jersey counts for something in the rankings, Baylor is ranked about 10 spots lower than they deserve to be!

I think every unbeaten team still has the opportunity to proved themselves. Still too early in the season for the rankings to matter. Baylor just has to keep winning like every other contender.

I agree, if all three of these teams keep winning their rankings will reflect it. OU may not quite be the national contender they were 5 or 10 years ago, but they're still a perennial top 15 team that has proven they can play week in and week out at that level. Baylor and Tech still need to prove they can do that. They have a chance in the next 2-3 weeks to win tricky road games before playing OU. Regardless of how they do against OU, can either team handle the spotlight of November, when a conference spoiler just itching to ruin their season pops up every week and you're game is most likely the prime time ABC game on Saturday night?
