At the start of the year the prevailing sentiment was that this was going to be a bad year in the Big 12. I think this has actually turned out to be a strong competitive year for the league. I especially under estimated KSU. They've been surprisingly good. There are really only two bad teams in this league. Oklahoma is another pleasant surprise.

Competitive, but not great.
K-State has improved dramatically under Weber this season, and that's great to see as a K-State fan.
Oklahoma is obviously well coached, as well... and so is Iowa State.
I said earlier (maybe not here) that the coaches in this league are better than the teams themselves, and I still believe that's true.
Each of these teams has major flaws. Kansas has games where they'd be better off without a point guard on the floor. Kansas State and Oklahoma State can both get bullied by any post player with a couple offensive moves.
