OU is still good. Hard to believe they lost to ND. Is UT improving significantly? Will c. Klein play for KSU? Can State win without him?

I think Texas found some focus last week that went missing. They did face a tough early schedule within the conference, and the schedule opens up a little now. They should beat Iowa State and TCU at home and lose to Kansas State on the road. That puts them at 9-3 on the season.
West Virginia at Oklahoma State is an interesting game. Nobody expect WV to stop OSU's offense, but OSU has really flown under the radar lately and they've improved every week. I won't be surprised if WV gets taken to the woodshed again.
Pivotal game for Tech's future. It's a losable game because the confidence has taken a hit in recent weeks. If the focus and determination isn't there, this could be a crushing loss.
KSU is a power running team that matches up well against a speed based running team like TCU. You can beat TCU by rushing the ball right at them. On defense, just get in Boykin's face, he made plays when he had a clean pocket and didn't when he had people around him. You don't need Klein to do these things, but big plays will be needed. So if Klein doesn't go, better hope you can ride Hubert's legs and the backup can make some plays off play action.

WVU @ OSU is the game of the week. OSU wins. UT needs to keep playing defense like they did at Tech. Offense has a lot of weapons but can go to sleep at times like at KU Unbelievably the team that looks to be on upset alert this week is KSU if Klein doesn't play. If Klein plays, even at 80%, KSU wins.

I agree that KSU is on upset alert, but TCU is playing a defense for the first time that can truly make them pay for their offensive mistakes. A bad throw against Tech, OSU or WVU may get picked off or just broken up, but the same thing against KSU will get taken the other way for 6 points. So I really think KSU's defense can limit TCU to under 20 points. So as long as whoever plays QB can keep the offense error free, then I think KSU wins. If the offense can't move the ball, or commits turnovers of their own, then look out.

Upset alert?! Are you kidding me?! Can TCU win? Sure they can, but this is ridiculous. I don't remember the last week K-State wasn't on "upset alert".
K-State can match TCU offensively if Sams plays QB for the 'Cats. Defense and special teams favor K-State, also. In terms of points, TCU has given up 38, 36, 53, 21, and 37 in league games. This game shouldn't be close.
OSU looked very impressive to me in person, last week. I don't see how they could lose to WVU at home.
As bad as KU has played all season, they're much worse on the road. Tech will cruise.

Depends on your definition of "upset alert". I don't think it's the literal sounding definition of being on alert for an upset, I think it means which conference team is most likely to be upset. So compared to the other conference games, I think TCU is the underdog with the best chance of winning.
Remember, they've played two overtime games so far, so their points against should really be 4 touchdowns lower. Their defense is capable of keeping KSU's offense in the 20-30 point range even with Collin Klein, so if he can't go then KSU will have their work cut out for them. Defensively, KSU just needs to keep getting in Boykin's face. He's a freshman that likes to run, so if you force him to stay in the pocket and get bodies near him, he'll make mistakes. So I do think KSU can shut him down. It's gonna fall on the offense for KSU, if Klein plays I see no problem, if he doesn't play then it will be difficult.

Somebody forgot to "alert" the Frogs. They were never threatening in this game.
Kansas, amazingly, did threaten with 390 rushing yards.
Is Baylor's offense that good to put up points on OU? Could be a very similar game for Baylor hosting K-State this week.
Texas looks like a top 10 team right now.

That's good news for Kansas State, a highly ranked Texas to finish the season will only help KSU's cause. At this point, all they need is a win for a championship game slot, but a national stage for Collin Klein will help his Heisman cause from a fast rising Johnny Manziel.
Tech played one of the worst games I can remember and somehow squeaked out a win. I don't know why they couldn't bring 9 or 10 guys in the box. They were extremely unfocused all around, the offense was erratic and the defensive line was just mentally out to lunch. That's what led to the altercation with Tuberville and the assistant coach, there's no excuse for not being able to get players on the field.
