Texas is really bad this year. I couldn't even finish watching the game. Ole Miss did whatever they pleased with their offense in the 2nd half. Texas switched to the dreaded Greg Davis sideways passing in the 2nd half on the O while the running game stalled miserably as well. We were just bad on both sides of the ball. The class that is currently playing was ranked #1.
I think the early years of Mack were more of an anomaly and the current situation is more of the norm. Besides the early Mack era and the late 60s horns under Royal, we pretty much suck, like we sucking right now. This is terrible, we were spoiled for a little while and now it's back to the 90s Texas football with another beatdown coming up next week.

Vote with your feet Longhorn fans! The only voice a fan has in these matters is whether they show up for games. Even if you paid for the ticket already, staying home on gameday is the clearest sign that the status quo is unacceptable. If you go, then you're telling them that mediocrity is ok.
If you stay home, and Texas plays in front of empty stadiums all season long, you as fans will take heat for it. You'll be called fair weather, you'll be called front runners, you'll get all the ridicule you can imagine, but there's no other way! Lemme ask this way, if you went out eat a nice restaurant, and you waited forever for a table, and the waiter was rude, and food tasted bland, and the drinks were overpriced... would you go back to that restaurant again?
